Laser & IPL Aftercare Sheet - Editable Client Handout for Clinics

Sale price$9.00 AUD

The handout that stops the "is this normal?" text message at 9pm on a Sunday.

Most laser aftercare advice is given verbally, at the end of an appointment, while the client is putting their shoes on. Then they go home, the redness settles into small raised bumps around each follicle, and they panic. This is the sheet you hand them instead — written for the client, not the practitioner.

What's on it

  • What to do: cooling, cleansing, the 48-hour rule on heat, sweat, saunas and swimming, SPF 50+ for four weeks, and the instruction most clients get wrong: shave between sessions, never wax, pluck or thread.
  • What is normal: redness and warmth, swelling around the follicles for 24–48 hours, pigmented spots darkening before they flake away, and treated hair shedding over 1–3 weeks. Naming the shedding is what stops clients believing the treatment failed.
  • When to contact you straight away: a clearly marked panel covering blistering, spreading redness or pus, pain that increases rather than settles, any change to vision, and cold sore reactivation.
  • Your contact details, after-hours number and emergency instruction: in a bordered box at the bottom, where a worried person can find it.
  • A next-steps table: treatment date, next session due, and recommended products, for you to fill in by hand.
